Dear Friend in Christ,
I wanted to write you a letter to invite you and your youth group to our 22nd Annual March Madness event on Saturday, March 9, 2024. This is the biggest youth activity we have at our church and this year will be no different. There are always many good decisions made for God. Groups of all sizes come from churches in PA, WV, OH, and MD. All teens, 7th-12th grade, are invited to this event! With the busy schedule of a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, volleyball tournament, ping pong, and the always popular slam dunk contest, your teens will have a jam-packed day. We will be having Junior Varsity (7th-9th graders) and Varsity (Any teen) brackets so that the younger teens have a chance to win prizes and compete with others closer to their age group. In the evening, we will have an all-you-can-eat pizza party which is a great way to end the game time. We plan to have great preaching, special prizes for the winners, and a few surprises along the way.
The cost for the entire activity (including the pizza party) is only $5.00 per person. Registration for that day’s events will begin at 10:00am, the activities will start promptly at 10:30am, and the day will be winding down and finishing up around 6:30pm (depending on the length of the games). We look forward to seeing you and are praying that God will do a mighty work in your youth group this coming year.
